The Student Hubs team is the physical gateway to the Waipapa Taumata Rau | University of Auckland. We provide a welcoming, friendly, and mana-enhancing service for future and current students across their student journey.

We deliver a wide range of services to support student on their journey at Waipapa Taumata Rau | University of Auckland. Our primary function is to deliver high quality in-person and online services that support students holistically. Our services include: 

• guidance and advice on being a student 
• navigating the University systems, spaces and processes 
• exploring study options 
• application and enrolment support 
• Library & Student IT services 

Our Hub Advisers provide advisory services primarily through 1:1 consultations for more complex enquiries, guiding students through their journey and connecting them in with appropriate University resources.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team of Hub Advisers who: 

• Are strong Team Players, work well in a team environment and are also self-starters 
• Have the ability to problem solve creatively 
• Work well in a fast-paced, dynamic and professional environment 
• Demonstrate empathy and care for others 
• Bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic, aligning with our values 

Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity 

We are looking for an exceptional person to join our team in the Tai Tonga Campus Student Hub.

This is a full-time, 37.5 hours per week role.  

The shift pattern for this position is:

Tuesday: 12 pm-8 pm

Wednesday: 8 am -4 pm

Thursday: 8 am -4 pm

Friday: 8 am -4 pm

Saturday: 9 am -5 pm  

The salary range for this role is $62,400 - $68,200 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
