    Job Description:

    About the role - You will be working in the Corporate Finance team; supporting the Financial Accountant to develop and maintain our corporate responsibilities for the subsidiaries of the University of Nottingham. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the subsidiary accounting records supporting monthly management accounting, annual statutory reporting and also with budget preparation. You will develop your technical accounting knowledge as we complete financial statements and other regulatory returns.

    About the team- You will be working alongside another Accountancy Assistant in the Subsidiary team as part of the wider Corporate Finance team. You will report to the Financial Accountant for subsidiaries.

    About you- You will have proficient IT skills with an appreciation for maintaining accuracy through good analytical and problem-solving skills, be AAT qualified or have substantial relevant experience, additionally you will have practical experience of managing budgets and understanding fundamental accounting principles. Experience of Oracle Fusion would be a bonus. Further details can be found in the role profile.
