About the role and team:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and customer focused Team Leaders to join our Catering Team. Based within “The Barn” at Sutton Bonington Campus you will be responsible for the operation, organisation and supervision of a catering unit.
These are key positions within the Catering Team and will have duties that include preparing the dining room and servery area for service, organising Formal Dinners and events and all aspects of training, motivating and supervising a team including preparing rota's and using the departments time and attendance system. You will also liaise with suppliers and other internal departments and will lead your team to ensure excellent service is provided to our customers at all times.
Candidates should have supervisory experience gained within a similar environment, proven planning, administration and organisational skills and have experience of stock control. This role will include frequent lifting and moving of a range of items that can be heavy but lifting aids and full training will be provided.

Available Post
Hours of work are 25 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 to be arranged, mainly Monday to Friday to include occasional weekends for events and conferences between the hours of 09.00am-4.00pm on a permanent rolling contract 52 weeks of the year basis to include student vacation periods and will attract 15% pay uplift allowance for any hours worked at the weekend. Flexibility to work a range of shifts will be required.

The successful candidate for this post will be expected to attend the Estates and Facilities training courses which run Monday to Friday mornings. Further details will be given at interview.
