About the role
You will play a role in coordinating and delivering inclusive student support within the Vet School. The role focuses on leading the development, review, and implementation of teaching, assessment, and placement support plans, ensuring that students particularly those with disabilities receive appropriate and consistent adjustments across all stages of their studies.
A core aspect of the role involves acting as the central point of contact for inclusion-related matters, providing confidential advice and guidance to students, staff, and applicants. The post holder manages communications, delivers workshops, and supports students through one-to-one engagement, while monitoring student progress and identifying any areas of concern requiring intervention.
The role also requires close collaboration with academic staff, professional services, and external partners to ensure compliance with university policies and professional accreditation requirements. Responsibilities include coordinating examination and placement adjustments, analysing data to inform support strategies, and maintaining accurate records in line with data protection regulations.
Overall, the position combines strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills to enhance the student experience, promote inclusion, and ensure equitable access to learning opportunities across the School.
About the Team
The role sits within the Teaching, Learning and Assessment Team at the University of Nottingham’s School of Veterinary Medicine and Science. The team works collaboratively to ensure that teaching, assessment, and student support processes are well coordinated and delivered to all students.

The team operates in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a strong focus on professionalism, inclusivity, operational excellence and service development.
About you
You will bring relevant qualifications or substantial experience in further or higher education, alongside strong administrative experience, data handling and reporting skills, and a sound understanding of GDPR. You will be highly organised, an excellent communicator, and confident managing multiple priorities to demanding deadlines, with a strong commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement.
