This is an exciting opportunity to join the Registry and Academic Affairs department, where you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency and effective use of data that supports the student journey. What will you be doing?
As a Senior Administrator, you will:
- Support in key data projects throughout the year
- Identify problems and propose solutions to queries, and suggest improvements to processes
- Monitor, triage and respond to data requests, including producing datasets
- Deliver high quality advice and support services, with a focus on data-related queries and processes
- Work with highly sensitive data, and support data quality exercises that relate to the HESA return
- Support the department’s Information Asset Register review meetings
- Contribute to initiatives to strengthen data literacy within the department

What qualities are we looking for?
- Excellent IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft 365 especially Excel
- Excellent organisation, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
- Collaborative team worker but is also able to work independently
- Some experience working with large datasets, especially highly sensitive data
About the team
The Data Integrity team plays a vital role in supporting Registry and Academic Affairs data needs. We work closely with colleagues across the University to understand data needs, resolve issues and provide insight the supports operational and strategic decision making. This is a collaborative and solution-focused team environment, with opportunities to use tools such as Tableau and Power Automate.

Work patterns may fall between 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday. This is a permanent, full-time post (36.25 hours); however, applications from candidates wishing to work less than full time (to a minimum of 29 hours per week) will be considered. Please specify in your application if you wish to work less than full time and the number of preferred hours
