    Associate Director User Experience

    The University of Southampton is seeking to appoint an Associate Director User Experience within Library and Learning Services.

    About the role

    This is a key role, leading the strategic development of customer focussed services and partnerships across our four libraries and evolving digital service environment. Our collaborative approach is paramount from co-designing with students and researchers to working with local communities.

    Our Digital and Estates Strategic Plans are underpinning significant upgrades of our physical and digital infrastructure. In this context the role holder will lead the Library contribution to the design and development of library and learning spaces across the University.

    About you

    With extensive experience in a customer services environment you will have a good understanding of what enables excellent customer service and catalyses service improvement. With a strong customer focus you will be able to think both analytically and creatively and have experience of leading long term engagement with a range of users and stakeholders within a complex landscape.  A collaborate and effective leader, you will support and motivate staff, interacting strategically with senior colleagues across the academic and professional services community.
