Job Description:
This role will be based on the university campus with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Are you skilled in working with volunteers? Are you passionate about the value and the impact of giving time to everyone involved? Does improving the outcomes for students motivate and drive you? Can you grow the number and variety of volunteering opportunities, so more people are benefiting?
You should be an experienced able to grow volunteering opportunities that engage and excite our alumni and supporters and leverage their skills and experience.
You will help create and grow our range of opportunities for volunteers at all levels, focused on enhancing the experience of our students and recent graduates and creating the most potential for their future success. Your work will directly impact the lives of students, particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds, by providing opportunities to grow their networks, gain industry relevant work experience and develop an understanding of their valuable skills in relation to a work setting.
Focusing on these priorities you will proactively identify and understand the opportunities and needs across the University where volunteers can make a positive impact, assess the needs and interests of our alumni and supporters, and work collaboratively to create, implement and measure volunteer activities that are relevant to the needs and skills of the volunteer and have strategic impact for the University.
Occasional evening and weekend work is required for this role.
