    Job Description:

    Are you an academic with proven abilities to carry out teaching in the field of theatre and performance? Are you passionate about delivering an exceptional student experience in a research-intensive Russell Group University?

    You will have expertise in the subject area of theatre and performance and will contribute to the teaching of courses including our flagship BA Theatre and Performance programme. Desirable specialisms should include aspects of performance making and might include; performer training, dramaturgy, scenography, performance technologies, experience of relational and applied performance work devising, and an ability to place this within contemporary and global perspectives.

    You will provide effective and innovative research-based teaching across the School and will contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate modules, including leading practical sessions, lectures, seminars, dissertation supervision and assessment.

    With relevant research and teaching experience and a PhD in a related field, or equivalent relevant industry experience, you will have the ability to make an outstanding contribution to the School and you will be committed to delivering an exceptional student experience.
