This Clerical Assistant role will see you providing accurate and efficient administrative support to our academic Schools, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of activities. Working closely with the School Administration Officer, you will assist with a range of clerical and administrative tasks, supporting both academic and professional services colleagues. You will manage routine processes and respond to operational needs, maintaining high levels of customer service, responsiveness and accuracy.
As a Clerical Assistant you can expect to be involved in:
- Providing general clerical support to contribute to effective day to day administration.
- Acting as the primary administrator for Visiting and Honorary processes within the School.
- Supporting the planning, coordination and execution of local events related to academic disciplines within the School, liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
What will you bring to the role?
- Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office packages
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to deal with a wide range of people at all levels
- Good attention to detail/accuracy
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise
