    Job Description:

    To support its growing student population, the School of Economics would like to appoint two Lecturers (teaching focused) on a fixed term (11 months) and part time (0.5 FTE) contract. The successful candidates will contribute to our teaching activities and will undertake administrative duties as assigned by the head of economics. The posts will commence on 1 September 2026 and will end on 31 July 2027.

    We encourage applications from candidates with teaching experience in any area of Economics. Candidates should hold, or be in the process of completing, a PhD in Economics or related field and should have previous experience of teaching economics in a university setting or similar environment. Resourcefulness, enthusiasm and demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues and to work as part of a supportive team are important traits of the successful candidates.
