Your next opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer to join our BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing team on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave.
The purpose of the role is to teach clinical and theoretical nursing skills in a range of settings and to facilitate the integration of students’ clinical practice with their academic studies. To enhance the reputation of the University of Sunderland School of Nursing as a centre of excellence by engaging with teaching, reach-out and research programmes in nursing and health related topics.
The role will also require the post holder to support other nursing programmes including pre-registration nursing and CPD provision and to enhance the reputation of the University of Sunderland School of Nursing as a centre of excellence by engaging with teaching, reach-out and research programmes in nursing and health related topics. The postholder will be employed by the University of Sunderland however will need to be able to commute to the University of Sunderland in London campus based at Canary Wharf.
Is this you?
We are looking for individuals with a current NMC Registration as an Adult Nurse and a first degree or equivalent experience. You will be aware of current trends in teaching and have teaching experience in a relevant subject area or relevant professional experience.
