The Finance department is seeking a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our friendly and enthusiastic Finance Department. This post is part of the Purchase Ledger function who process invoices and payments to suppliers and students, and the Cash & Banking function which reports on banking activity. This is a busy and varied role, dealing with multiple contacts across the university. The post holder must ensure that audit requirements, university regulations and financial controls are always adhered to. As part of a drive for continuous improvement the post holder will also review processes and procedures to incorporate efficiencies where possible. The Finance department is one of the central administrative support departments of the University. The role of the Finance department is to provide a comprehensive range of financial services to the University to cover all aspects of financial compliance and proactive financial support, and added value to all other departments, staff and students.
