The Department of Classics and Archaeology at the University of Nottingham is looking to appoint a Teaching Associate in Classics (Greek-focussed).We believe in an inclusive working environment for all. You will be responsible for convening and teaching Ancient Greek from Beginner’s to Advanced level, and convening and contributing to the undergraduate modules Extended Source Study, Interpreting Ancient Art and Archaeology, and Dissertations. You will also contribute to Study Classical Scholarship and supervise undergraduate and taught postgraduate dissertations. You may also contribute to undergraduate teaching on broader first year introductory modules where appropriate.You must have a PhD already awarded in a relevant subject area or to be awarded by time of appointment and show evidence of ability to teach in the areas outlined above.The well-being and development of our students is of utmost importance to us, so the successful candidate will take a proactive role in the pastoral support of students. Working closely with principal investigator Professor Joy Y.
