This role will be aligned to the UK Shared Prosperity Fund Contract, which is led by the University of Sunderland to support various Skills Programmes which form part of the commercial portfolio. The funding from the Shared Prosperity Fund bid will see this area continue to grow and this post will play a supporting role in the delivery of this portfolio. The successful role holder will be passionate about training, developing, engaging, and inspiring learners to achieve. They will be responsible for providing high-quality training to learners on IT technical and desktop application courses and support contract targets to meet project outcomes.

About the role

The University of Sunderland and several other partners recently secured a UK Shared Prosperity Fund Project to develop a wide and holistic suit of provision, designed to support businesses and individuals in Sunderland.

MTC is a training provider offering a range of accredited and non-accredited courses in a wide range of Technical IT, Desktop Applications, Business Management and Leadership courses, as well as a portfolio of Apprenticeship Programmes.

Due to the anticipated extensive demand for IT technical and desktop application training within the project, we are looking to appoint an experienced IT Trainer to support training delivery.

You will have experience of training across a wide range of Microsoft 365 Applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access at levels 1 to 3.
