Job Description:

This is an exceptional time to be joining the University of Southampton and its Integration and Automation Services team within the University’s IT department, iSolutions.

About the Role

This is a key role in support of the IAM project.

The primary goal is to implement a modern Identity & Access Management solution aligned with a robust Identity Governance structure to provide a platform that underpins the University’s Digital Strategy aims for Organisational Excellence. This will align the identity system with the University's strategic growth plan, especially supporting the international growth agenda and desire to provide a more personalised digital experience for staff and students.

What you’ll do

Work closely with current staff members and 3rd Party provider to implement the new IAM platform.

Take a leading role in the planning of major systems installations.

Produce and maintain detailed, well-structured documentation to assist with the handover at the end of the project.

Deliver coaching and mentor colleagues within the team.

What you’ll bring

An eagerness and willingness to learn.

Ability to work closely with other developers.

Experience of the implementation of IAM solutions.

Knowledge of IAM solutions (Sailpoint, Okta, MS Azure AD, etc.)

Experience of the MS Azure platform.

The integrity required to work with both commercially sensitive and personally identifiable information.

Experience in programming in one or more of the following: C#, SQL, PowerShell, gRPC, TypeScript/JavaScript.

The ability to present your ideas and your specialist area to a wide and potentially non-technical audience.
