Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced physiotherapist with a passion for the high-quality physiotherapy education and expertise in managing and developing practice-based learning within an academic or healthcare / NHS setting to join the physiotherapy programme team within the School of Health Sciences at the University of Southampton. You will help us deliver our highly valued pre-registration BSc and MSc Physiotherapy programmes.

We are looking for someone who shares our vision for how education and research can transform healthcare. You will have an appreciation of issues facing contemporary higher education, clinical practice and health services nationally and the role of practice-based learning within this. You will lead the development, coordination, and quality monitoring of physiotherapy practice placements, ensuring and enhancing support for students in practice. Providing support to other educational activities as appropriate.

This Senior Teaching Fellow (STF) role is on an education-led pathway. You will have relevant UK (NHS Band 6 and above) experience, understanding of practice-based learning in healthcare and be a skilled physiotherapy educator with HCPC registration and CSP membership.
