This role will be based on the university campus with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Do you want to play a key role in supporting the success of students by further developing and promoting our institutional approach to peer support? Are you interested in helping to break down barriers to success, particularly for students from underrepresented groups?
We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to lead initiatives designed to improve the success of students across the institution, focusing on non- continuation/completion rates, degree attainment and progression to graduate destinations.
The role will support the delivery of the University's Access and Participation Plan and Access and Student Success Strategy and accelerate progress towards the strategy's targets. Working closely with faculties, schools and services across the University of Leeds, the role will work in a flexible collaborative way with services, schools and faculties to ensure our peer support schemes deliver high quality student experience, complementing existing student success and support provision within the local and institutional context.
The role-holder will ensure that faculties/schools/services are supported in delivering new or extant peer support provision through providing best practice advice and guidance; ensuring that robust monitoring and evaluation measures are in place; adopting a data informed approach to promote effective targeting and tailoring of peer support schemes within the local and institutional context.
The role will require strong project management skills, collaborative working across the institution and an understanding of complex processes. You will also need a sound understanding and experience of evaluation to advise, lead and support the development of a robust collection of evidence-informed student success activities.
