Digital and Technology Services are excited to be offering an internal opportunity for a new strategic leadership role of Product Director, offering you the opportunity to define, drive forward and lead a new cross-departmental team that will focus on the people, processes and technology elements of supporting and enhancing our newly implemented Oracle Fusion Enterprise Resource Planning System, UniCore.

In this role, you will provide vision and thought-leadership across the university and work alongside existing teams to establish and embed new ways of working and drive forward our service improvement agenda. You will need to be hands-on, with an ability to see activities through to successful completion and able to engender a strong sense of accountability and responsibility across the teams you lead and influence.

Reporting to the Chief Digital Officer, the Product Director will be responsible for leading the UniCore Product Team and establishing a strategy and roadmap to define process and technology changes to enhance the UniCore product. You will be passionate about delivering the best solutions and services for our university community and champion a culture of continuous improvement, leading and inspiring the team to succeed.

To succeed in this ambitious new position, you must be an experienced strategic leader, a change agent, an innovator, effective communicator, trusted advisor to senior leaders and an influencer at all levels, able to maintain high-level effective relationships with senior stakeholders.

The post is offered on a permanent contract. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week) ; however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week).
