We are inviting applications for two Postgraduate Taught Programmes Administrator's to join the Education Centre in the School of Medicine.

We are seeking enthusiastic team workers who have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be friendly, proactive, and self-motivated. In addition, the successful candidates will possess excellent planning, organisation and communication skills.

This role will provide administrative support for a small portfolio of postgraduate taught courses, delivering operations and will be a key contributor to supporting areas in student engagement and experience. The role holder will join the School of Medicine’s postgraduate team while building strong relations with a range of stakeholders, including academic teams and other university departments, supporting the successful delivery of our postgraduate taught courses.

The postgraduate team supports the School of Medicine’s postgraduate taught courses from recruitment and admissions across the whole student experience through to assessments and graduation. These are varied roles utilising a range of skills.

The successful candidate's will be qualified to GCSE level to include English and Maths (or equivalent) or significant work experience in a similar role with excellent IT skills and proven ability to work to tight deadlines.

The post is based at the Education Centre, in the Queens Medical Centre at Nottingham, however, you may be asked to travel to other university sites as part of the role.

Two posts are available on a fixed term contract for 18 months. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week); however, applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part time and the number of preferred hours. Job share arrangements may be considered.
