Job Description:

We are searching for an AV technology enthusiast who loves solving problems to fill a new role in our AV support team.

About the Role

You will be providing face-to-face and remote support for the University’s AV systems, helping our world-renowned academics, staff and students solve their AV problems.

This role is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic AV technician who wants to learn new skills and progress within the field. This is a meaningful role where you will be supporting the world-leading teaching the University undertakes.

What you’ll do

  • Provide face-to-face and remote support for the University’s AV equipment.
  • Take ownership of support incidents and use your troubleshooting skills to see them through to resolution.
  • Provide advice and guidance that enables our customers to harness the full power of the available AV.

What you’ll bring

  • Your experience of supporting AV technologies (installed and live event) including control systems such as Crestron
  • Your understanding of AV and IT as converging / complementary disciplines
  • Your clear systematic and logical approach to problem solving.
  • Your exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Your fabulous customer service skills.
  • Commitment to the University Behaviors
  • Your gained experience and qualifications that could be applied to this role.
